Definition:

<BR> forces a line break in HTML text flow. This tag acts similar to a carraige return.

Attributes:

None.

Context:

<BR> is legal within:
<A> <ADDRESS> <B> <CITE> <CODE> <DD> <DT> <EM> <H*> <I> <KBD> <LI> <P> <PRE> <SAMP> <STRONG> <TT> <VAR>

No markup can be used within <BR> (it's a singleton markup element)

Suggested style/usage:

<BR> can force line breaks in text whenever desired.

Example:

One little, two little, three little indians<BR>
Four little, five little, six little indians<BR>
. . .
